Something went down recently and I had a HUGE reality check that knocked me off of Cloud 9.
So now that I’m back on solid ground, I’m thinking with my head and not my heart. And I’m still very pissed off at what happened. I even cried a little and cleaned a whole lot to try and take my mind off things. Seriously, I’m more mad at myself for being such a dummy.
All of this is a recipe for a great long run today. Except I must have eaten a crap ton of fiber yesterday because I’ve spent all morning pooping, basically. I’ve made it all the way to the trails and have about 4 miles to run before I get to the good bathrooms. I’m just sitting in my car drinking green tea hoping all my problems and poop will magically disappear for 35 minutes so I can run fast and get to the dang restrooms. Ughhh!!!
My long run training schedule for the next month is 7 miles (today), 13 miles (8/11/13), 15 miles (8/18/13), 8 miles (8/25/13), RACE DAY!! 13.1 miles (9/1/13).
Alright. Time to to run and try not to poo on myself.
