Seriously? Wow!

I’m obsessed with legs.  They take you where you need to go.  When they are sore, you secretly love it!  Leg muscles burn tremendous amounts of calories, because they are so huge in proportion to other muscles.

Now that I sound like a complete creeper, I will stop talking about my obsession with legs.

I can barely do a pistol squat alone, much less with overhead weights!  Wow… I bow down! I can’t wait to get there someday.

Hey y’all!  Today was another extraordinary day.  I woke up around 8 AM, and had just enough time to squeeze in a fast mile run around the neighborhood.

10 minutes of running is better than 10 minutes of sleeping in.

I immediately picked out my outfit, took a shower, and then stood in front of the air condition vent because I couldn’t STOP SWEATING.  That run really lit my metabolism on fire!  I ended up going with a crazy wardrobe choice that I would have never chosen if not for J at J’s Everyday Fashion.  I absolutely need and love her blog! I didn’t have time to take a picture of the full outfit, but I wore a red skirt, nude blouse, black blazer, and nude heels.  (I’m sure I’ll wear it again to my interview in San Antonio next week, so I’ll post a photo then!)

I was running out of time, so I threw my hair in a bun. Typical.

My interview in Corpus Christi, Texas lasted for FOUR hours.  Technically, there are 3 interview rounds for this position.  They liked me so much that they gave me the second interview on the same day!  I was unsure about the job at first, but I was also excited.  It’s something so totally out of my comfort zone, but I love a challenge.  I informed one of the managers that I will be going to another interview next week in San Antonio.  He told me that I am hired, and my next interview will be discussing the salary and I will also begin training immediately – if that’s what I want.  I am SO grateful and thankful to God!  If my interview in San Antonio goes well, it will be such a hard decision to make.

To celebrate, I ate chocolate went to the gym tonight!

The gym clerk also let me workout for free today! God must have told him that I'm flat broke.

I’m noticing my quads & arms are really getting stronger!

I’ve been strength training for exactly 4 weeks now.  I can lift things around the house easier.  I can lift 3 gallons of water above my head with one hand.  To see the strength build up like this is awe-inspiring.  The human body is a machine, and I’m so anxious to see what this old body is capable of!

What are important criteria you look at when deciding whether to accept or reject a job offer???  Thanks for your advice!
