Have you ever read “A New Earth” by Eckhart Tolle?  That book opened me up to the concept of awareness.  I remember Oprah doing so many shows about it years ago, and I read the book throughout college.  It talks a lot about “the ego” which is the attention seeking, negative Nancy, and drama loving part in all of us.  The ego loves to be fed with negativity, self-loathing, and pain.  It thrives off of sucking the energy out of us.

STRENGTH TRAIN!  You can strength train by running up bleachers or flights of stairs, do lunges with laundry detergent jugs in your hands, wall-sits, etc.  Strength will bring a boost to your running, while also preventing injuries!

The Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games is on Friday,July 27, 2012.
